Technical director Ainhoa is charge of the important task of making sure we’re constantly at the top of our game in the quality, safety, legality and authenticity of the ingredients we sell.


Authenticity is vital to Belazu and we take it very seriously.

The technical and quality assurance teams devote much time and energy to ensuring we know what we’re buying, that it’s the real deal, that the quality is on point.


We take our supply chain extremely seriously; we conduct frequent audits on our suppliers, making sure the technical aspects of their processes are fully up to speed with our expectations.

That means being spot on in terms of allergen control, food safety and standardisation of processes and product.


Ainhoa, Marika, Eleni, Paola and Mary do a stellar job in this area, and are a huge factor in our achievement of the high score with the British Retail Consortium,  BRC A level.
