Last Monday Belazu volunteers took part in Zizzi’s third annual Mudder Challenge to help raise a whopping £39,877 for Cancer Research UK.

Our team joined more than 390 participants as they got down and dirty in the muddy 5km military-style course with over 80 obstacles. The sportsmanship was incredible with lots of people helping each other out of the muddy trenches, up ropes, over inflatable doughnuts and, towards the end, through the treacherous lake.

Competitors were greeted by a festival-style after party at the finish line where all the proceeds from the food and drink stalls went directly to the charity. There were also massages on offer for the finishers, face painting for the kids as well as live music culminating with a DJ set.

Over the last four years Zizzi has raised more than £1million for CRUK and we are delighted to be able to join in, raise money and help Stand Up To Cancer.
