Piquillo Peppers wood roasted
Spanish peppers, fruity, without piquancy or bitterness. Picked ripe and fire roasted, they are then hand peeled and deseeded without using water, which helps maintain their bold red colour, roasted aroma and that sweet, sweet flavour. Classically used for stuffing with vegetables or bacalao and potatoes.
Did you know? Piquillo means 'little beak' in Spanish, they are so called for the little black charred point on the tip.
