Extra Virgin Fig Leaf Olive Oil

Young fig leaves are stone ground alongside Arbequina olives producing a mild grass flavour with a complex almond aroma.

Arbequina olives are harvested later in the season, allowing the olives to mature on the trees to produce a sweeter oil, which better compliments the fig leaf undertones. The olives and the young fig leaves are then crushed together and cold-extracted creating an intricate full-bodied oil fewer bitter notes. Grass undertones are quickly followed by a peppery sharpness before settling with green fig and almond notes.
