Extra Virgin Orange Infused Olive Oil
A beautiful blend of orange zest oil and extra virgin olive oil.
Produced in Spain, this oil is made by crushing Spanish oranges and Arbequina olives together, under huge conical stones. The resulting "paste" is malaxed (or stirred) to burst the oil filled cells, and encourage larger droplets of oil to form. From there it is spun in a centrifuge to separate solids from liquids, then oil from water. The resulting oil is a beautiful blend of orange zest oil and extra virgin olive oil. Its unmistakable orange aromas give way to a gentle olive oil flavour. it makes an excellent substitute/flavouring in baking where a natural orange flavour is required. Arrives Ambient.
