Stay in and treat that special someone with a three course meal this Valentines Day. This refreshing starter looks and tastes impressive but only takes 15 minutes! Balsamic Pearls are a super fast way to add a WOW factor to a salad. If you aren’t a fan of goat’s cheese, you could easily substitute crumbled feta.
Serves 2
preparation time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
3 medium or 2 large oranges
15g soft goat’s cheese, roughly chopped
1 tbsp Belazu Balsamic Pearls
1 tbsp fresh mint leaves
Juice of 1 orange
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1) Slice the peel and white pith off the oranges, then slice them into thin rounds. Arrange on 2 serving plates.
2) Scatter over the goat’s cheese, Belazu Balsamic Pearls and mint.
3) Place the orange juice, olive oil and cinnamon in a jar with a screw top lid. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Shake until emulsified and combined, then drizzle over the salads. Serve immediately.
