Our range of olive oils would not be complete without a classic olive oil from Italy.
This beautifully packaged oil is a cold pressed, unfiltered extra virgin olive oil that’s made from Taggiasca olives. These small purple olives grow on the rugged coastal hillsides of Liguria in northwest Italy – the home of the famous pesto.
The olives are harvested by hand between November and January. They come from a variety of small local suppliers in the Roya, Nervia and Imperia valleys and are taken to a mill in Ventimiglia, where they are ground to make the oil.
Our Ligurian oil is presented in a tall, dark glass bottle, to preserve the light, soft and sweet flavours. It has a hint of pepper on the finish.
